Comment:
Taenia pisiformis scolex - common tape worm of dogs and other wild carnivores. The larval stage occurs in rabbits. Note: The scolex of T. saginata (the beef tapeworm) does not have a rostellum or hooks but scolex of T.solium (the pig tapeworm) has a rostellum and 2 rows of hooks as does this T.pisiformis.
